The Powell River & District Christmas Cheer Hamper Program relies on volunteers and donations from the community to provide food and gifts for families in need at Christmas. If you are interested in donating time, new toys or money, it would be greatly appreciated.

Here are some simple ways to help:

 

1. Donate money  

Donations are greatly appreciated. Please make cheques payable to the Powell River and District Christmas Cheer Committee. You can mail your cheques to: C/O Shelley Cherry, Treasurer, 4532 Harvie Avenue, Powell River, BC   V8A 2P1.  For your convenience, you may now email/electronic transfer your donation to PRchristmascheer@gmail.com  Please place your return address for your receipt in the comments box on your e-transfer.  Tax deductible receipts will be issued for donations of over $20.00.

2. Donate New Toys/Gifts

We graciously accept new toy donations, please contact PRchristmascheer@gmail.com for donation locations.

3. Donate your Quality Foods points to The Christmas Cheer Hamper Program to purchase a Turkey Voucher!

​Please email: prchristmascheer@gmail.com for arrangements.

Or, directly transfer your points to The Christmas Cheer Hamper Program's QF points card. Print and fill out the QF form below or stop by QF and fill out a  form at the service counter. You can also take a photo of the filled out form and email the picture to:  prchristmascheer@gmail.com and we'll purchase the voucher!
